Hello and welcome! I’m glad you’re here.
My name is Molly and I’m currently enrolled as a graduate student in the Game Design program at American University, with an expected graduation date of May 2020.
When it comes to game design, my primary interests are narrative and systems design. I love creating and experiencing complex, thoughtful stories with well-crafted characters. My background in news production has also left me with a strong inclination towards producing and project management.
In terms of research, I am passionate about analyzing the social impact of digital games, particularly the intersection of games and mental health.
Before landing at AU, I graduated from Virginia Tech with a degree in Communication, specializing in Electronic & Print Journalism. After graduating, I spent a couple of years producing in TV news before leaving to explore new industries.
These days, I spend my time outside of class working as a tutor, playing games, reading, exploring the D.C. metro area, working on personal projects, and spending time with my friends, family, husband, hedgehog, and two cats.
Using the menu above, you can browse my portfolio of current and past projects, including digital games, analog games, artwork, and 3D models.
